Head of Corporate Banking (Africa)

The role focuses on trade finance and transaction banking and this particular role has strong emphasis on businesses operating between the UK and sub-Saharan Africa.
You’ll run the corporate and mid-market book: winning new clients, growing existing relationships, and structuring lending and trade facilities. You’ll work alongside the trade finance, transaction banking and treasury teams in the bank.
The main corridor is Nigeria-UK, so this role needs someone who already knows that market well. You will likely have:
An existing network of corporate or mid-market clients in Nigeria or wider West Africa

A track record of origination in sub-Saharan Africa
Hands-on experience with credit, pricing and facility documentation
Comfort working in a regulated environment
Willingness to travel to Nigeria and other client markets when needed

Based in the City, 3 days a week in the office.
